The R66 helicopter meets current FAA, EASA regulations and has even received FAA approval to double the lifespan of selected components, making the helicopter more reliable and lower maintenance and operating costs, making the R66 TURBINE more attractive to owners and users.
At the same time, Robinson has placed restrictions on change orders for configurations in May 2024 to speed up production and reduce helicopter lead times.
A client can make the first configuration change eight weeks or two months after ordering a helicopter. The second opportunity for final changes will give Robinson just two weeks before the aircraft heads to the production line.
The R66 five-seat helicopters are produced in two variants, the R66 TURBINE and R66 TURBINE MARINE, and are reliable, economical and easy to maintain. The R66 TURBINE is particularly popular with us, as the R66 TURBINE MARINE helicopter features built-in floats in the skids, making it more suitable for flying over the water.
